This sub-brand of Martin Ray delivers aromas of Creme de Cassis, red fruit, and mint-like components that lift from the glass while being accompanied by a luscious, fruit-forward flavor with deep minerality. A rich wine with velvety, soft tannins, tremendous balance and a 15+ second finish. The 2006 is a great effort showing off traditional SLD characteristics that could mature over the next year or two.
